GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Understanding students' tuition needs and quickly getting to know their personalities and learning styles is really important to ensure a welcoming and motivating start to sessions.

Before starting I like to chat with parents along with students (if they prefer, depending on their age) to find out a little bit more about what you want to achieve from tuition. This gives you the chance to let me know more about you – what aspects of maths you enjoy, how you like to learn , any topics you feel you are weak in, what your teachers have suggested, what examination syllabus you are following etc.

Following this we can agree your objectives and how we might best structure the frequency and length of sessions, whether you wish to access on line support, have homework set and marked.

For convenience this meeting can take place online via Zoom or Facetime.
STARTING TUITION
Face to face tuition will be carried out in accordance with Government Covid19 guidelines.

In order to ensure everyone enjoys the sessions, the first will be a teaching session which also focuses on getting to know more about each other. This trial lesson will be at a reduced rate of £20 per student or £10 per student in group sessions.

Following our first session if you choose to commit to ongoing tuition you will receive a welcome pack, containing an A4 whiteboard, pens and cleaner, a folder to keep your work in and a notebook to record what you have learnt and achieved in each session.
RATES
To secure a regular weekly slot payment for 8 sessions will be required in advance.
Rates are per student per 50 minute teaching session.
24 hours’ notice is required to cancel a session.
